How do I create an account?
Click Register in the top right, fill in the form with your email address, create a password and verify your email. Your account is ready in minutes.
How does usedit.ch work?
usedit.ch is a Swiss marketplace dedicated to used IT equipment. Sellers publish their listings, buyers browse the catalog, make offers or buy directly. Payments are secured via Stripe.
Buying
How do I buy an item?
Find the item you want, click "Buy" or "Make an offer". Follow the payment instructions. Once payment is confirmed, the seller prepares the shipment.
Can I negotiate the price?
Yes, if the seller has enabled offers on their listing. Click "Make an offer", suggest your price and wait for the seller's response.
Selling
How do I publish a listing?
Click "Sell", take photos of your item. Our AI automatically analyzes the images and fills in the title, description and category. Review the information and publish.
What are the selling fees?
Publishing listings is free. A 5% commission is only applied on completed sales. No hidden fees.
Payments
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept bank transfer, Twint and cash on pickup. Online payments are secured via Stripe.
When do I receive payment as a seller?
Payment is transferred to your account after the buyer confirms receipt, usually within 3 to 5 business days.
Shipping
What delivery options are available?
Sellers can offer in-person pickup and/or parcel shipping. Shipping costs and delivery times are shown on each listing.
How do I track my package?
Once the item is shipped, the seller provides a tracking number which you can find in your "My Orders" section.
Account
How do I edit my profile?
Go to your personal space, "Profile" section. You can edit your personal information, address and payment preferences.
How do I delete my account?
Contact our support via the Contact page. We will process your request promptly in accordance with Swiss data protection law.
Safety
How do I report a problem?
If you encounter a problem with a transaction or user, use the "Report" button on the relevant listing or profile, or contact our support.
Is my data protected?
Yes, usedit.ch complies with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (DSG) and the GDPR. Your personal data is encrypted and never shared with third parties without your consent.
